So after a rather hectic semester, it has finally come to a close! This has probably been one of the most challenging semesters for me in terms of the sheer number of different things going on, from classes and homework, to working at Spyder Trap Online Marketing as often as possible (usually about 15-20 hours a week), to refereeing 20+ hockey games a month, being a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity, and the National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC) which takes a sizable portion of my time as well…oh and I forgot to mention all the while balancing a new relationship and still having a social life.
While it certainly has been a very VERY busy semester, it has been very rewarding for me for a number of reasons. For one, I have seen how much harder I can push myself and how thinly I can spread myself and my time over a number of different things that are important to me. I love being busy so long as what is occupying my time serves a purpose. I have felt that everything I have done this semester has a definitive purpose because it has helped me shape and build both my personal and professional lives.
This last semester has been very rewarding, as stated earlier, and I am optimistic for next semester because it will only get busier, as both NSAC and refereeing become more full-time commitments. Spring semester brings with it the end of our NSAC case, and as such we have regional and potentially national presentations, and as the hockey season hits mid-stride in January and February, there are not only more games available, but it is time to get in gear for the MHOA summer camp if I am to do the Junior leagues next winter.

keep working hard, it will pay off!!
Thanks Jason! I really appreciate the kind words. It has been very busy and hectic, yet it has already been very rewarding. Best of luck to you in the New Year! Feel free to follow me on Twitter Thanks again
I remember those days well. Keep pushing, it’s amazing how much you can find you’re capable of. What is the assignment for NCAS thing?
Thanks John, being busy is always hectic, but in the end its better being busy and getting things accomplished than wasting time sitting idle.
